Just when I was thinking that the Windows Live Photo Gallery function for making a panorama was so cool I found out they have another free application called ICE for Image Composite Editor. ICE does the photo stitch operation also but adds some additional functionality. Like you can correct some of the distortion that happens when you do a lot of stitches. I don’t know if this is a good example but I took my 20 images taken from my hotel room in the Millenium Hilton overlooking Ground Zero. In my new composite – I applied some correction to straighten out the buildings. Not too much, but it really makes a difference.
